I have O.S .50 SX-H Ring Helicopter. The engine is new to me, what kind of head speed would I need to be looking for?

The engine is happy at 17,000 rpms and on a Rappy V2 that calculates to 2000 HS , I set my Gov on 2050 and have 3D fun .

I would recommed set it to 1950 rpm, I run this speed on the head and can do many aerobatics, responds really nice and keeps you engine at very nice temp.

I agree with Raptorman, 2000-2050 will let the engine *fall* back right into the powerband if you bog it down a little, makes them respond really crisp to inputs as well
