I have recently purchased a Hirobo CH47 kit which I am converting to both Electric Motor (99% completed) and also to direct drive instead of using the supplied belt (50% completed).

I believe that the real Chinook rotor directions are reverse to what our models do, i.e. counter clockwise at front etc. Whilst I am setting up my mods, I have thought about reversing the one way bearing to achieve correct rotor direction, but wonder if the electronic controller would be upset by doing this?

For example, Helicommand's need to know the rotor direction and I was wondering if the supplied kit electronics would still work OK if I did reverse the rotor direction?

Any assistance etc. gratefully received.

Andy
