it's back

October 17th,

Mark it on your calander if your into free food and a day of flying with friends to close out the season at least for us northerners . No rain dates (this means you Brent!)

No landing fees just pay the park fees $3 for delaware residents and $6 for out of state tags, the rest is on us.

I'm in, since its like 15 mins. away And had a great time the previous years.

If you think its too far to drive for the day, then spend the night and hang out, we all fly all weekend mostly anyway so can't beat that.

Bring your plane to as that side of the flight line will be open as well.

Directions coming From I-95 in Delaware take Exit 1 to RT-896 South, go 6.2 miles to RT-71, make a left. Flying Site is 1/3 mile on left.

it seems on that day, my heli likes to crash, the same heli, two years in a row. I'll be there but this heli won't. May be an expensive day but worth every tear. (oh joy that is) Can't wait to see everyone I haven't seen in a while.

Am bumming Big Time!

There is an annual FallFest at our local state park that we always take the Kids to. A family weekend of camping and stuff. Well it just so happens that it falls on the same weekend that this does this year. Looks like I am not going to be able to make it. Have been to a Day in Delaware every year since Dave and James started it.

If you haven't been, a Day in Delaware is the chance to see everyone one last time before the season ends... and it truly is one of the best funflys of the season. It was put together by Dave and James just on the fly one Fall... just for the reason/ excuse to give everyone a chance to get out to see (and fly with) each other one last time.

The super relaxed atmosphere, and all of the kidding and joking around with each other that comes from that - makes for a unique and special tone to this event. There is an atmosphere that only this funfly can provide.

On top of that, they bring the food (and it is actually damn tasty)

HAVE FUN YOU GUYS!!!
I am going to recruit Eric to give out the hugs from me
