Can any of you guys in the know tell me how you check c of g on your logo's.

I thought I had checked mine by balancing off the flybar and then checking the skids to the horizon.
But on returning home with the thought that the heli didn't quite trim out as expected, I find the skids have a rake on them and therefore are not a good reference point, any pointer would be helpful.

Thanks

Good luck

Hold the heli sideways by the head, skids away from you, with the nose pointing left. If the nose falls, the CG is too far forward. If not, rotate the heli 180 degrees so that the nose is pointing right and if the tail falls, the CG is too far back. If neither end falls, the CG is good.

You can disengage the pinion from the main gear and check CG in one step if you so desire.

yep, the most accurate way it to remove the head. The main shaft is a tube so you put a screw driver inside the main shaft at the top and hold the heli on the side by the screwdriver handle. then it is really free to rotate and you can check the CG accurately.
