Hi guys,

What can cause bubbles to appear in the short clear fuel tube that goes between the regulator and carb on a YS 91SR?

I could not get the engine to run right, it had a ton of smoke, but was way too hot for my liking, and I still had good pressure in the tank... after looking closely, I noticed bubbles in the little fuel tube as the heli was idling...

Any idea what I should do or look for? I would hate to drop the engine out, but I will if I have to.

Any help/suggestion would be appreciated.

Regards,
G

A leak !!!

See if you can double up on the fuel line at each end of the tube .Use the tubing as a clamp and then when you get it back running ,at idle pull off the fuel line to the carb . It should come out like a garden hose .

Hope this helps !

Thanks. It was a faulty fuel filter.
