i need a expert advice, this cylinder head still good to use
or not. wrist pin retainer made that dimples.im not sure if alright to use or just buy new one.engine YS91SR

It wont hurt anything to try it, I would use it, maybe smooth out the pits a little with a dremel.

Just check none of the pits have raised spots that can break off. If you sandpaper the head keep in mind that you can have embeded grit that can break free later and cause problems, not something I want to happen. If you really want to get fancy get it dressed on a lathe, be careful not to remove much material, don't try to make it look new..

I wasn't talking about the 80 grit down at the local hardware that looks like real sand . Like a 1000 grit 3m . I finished mine in 2000 grit then polished it by hand .

And I'm sure you can fine one of these for 25 bucks . Maybe mine !

Don't forget to replace that glow plug!

When sanding off the high spots, try not to mess with the outer ring that's somewhat visible in your picture where the head will want to seat against the head gasket that's probably still stuck on top of the cylinder liner. Be careful, should be good as new.

You would not have to worry about 80 grit you could see those pieces of sand. You do as you want I tried.
