You will find related help at both the Gasser forum and the Scale forum. Are you just new to scale or new to flying RC Helis as well?

If the later, I urge you to build and fly the Predator as a pod and boom model first. Once you have that accomplished (not an easy task), then move the mechanics to the scale fuselage.

i have flown several electrics 30 and 60 size although not a fuel heli/ my control/flight ability is not a problem just custom work and fuselage work, as with many a rc enthusiast's it comes a time when help is needed. besides if i crack one up i'll either repair it or start from scratch. thanks for your words of wisdom.....STILL TOTOLLY HOOKED

ya definantly fly the heli for a few weeks until you get all the tuning/adjusting done also make sure you locktite EVERYTHING on a gasser theres lots of vibes so may even want to use stronger then normal locktite this thing is once its in the fuse its gonna be a BITCH to work on because you will have to tear it all apart to get to anything so make sure your gasser is running great and flys the way you want before you stuff it in there

hard to reach/hard to get to
yes i would imagine,i just want to have every component i will need there and waiting kinda keeps me motivated. there is so much i need to learn and experience as far mechanics go. i figure if i spend an extended period just pod an boom it will also allow me to know exactly what i want out of my fuselage lights/retracts/cooling etc. etc.i just want to say again this is the best site and the best group of guys i have ever had the pleasure of conversing with,, thanks to you all STILL,TOTALLYHOOKED
