wow 4.18 and a Tomcat just flew over my house, about 500ft up, I almost missed it, you never see that around here !!

yes, all I know is it had 2 Rudders and the Wings were swept back, I'm sure it was a Tom, I hope it wasn't a Mig LOL

I live near a airforce base and C130's and tilt rotors fly over my house alot. As a matter of fact i just built a service plate form for a C130 and an Apache heli. It's a mantanice plate form all aluminum.

Maybe an F15 or 18 ? I don't think they left any tomcats flying. I thought they were either destroyed or donated to museums. I think Iran has "A" models and the U.S. wanted to make sure they don't get parts. Maybe you saw an Iranian one? - Kris

at 500 feet over residential, almost 100% that a Tom would be at minimum sweep.

OK, I guess I should of looked at photos sooner,, I now think it was a 15,, the Wings looked more like an 15's than the Tomcats

sorry, I tried 8 or 9 times and I can not get the photos to load !!

I lived in western Mass for a while, C5 galaxy's would buzz the house...you could not talk or hear anything but the C5.

Just so you know they retired the tomcat. It most likely wasnt a tomcat.

Yup, the Tomcats are gone sniff sniff... awesome airplanes. I saw the NASA WB-58 once, that was a weird looking airplane!
