More info
I have had a few questions so I want to clarify these items.
-We do have porta potty facilities on premise.
-We do NOT have electricity on site, so you must charge from your car or bring a generator.

As we get closer to the fly date I will post information on raffles and prizes.

Come one come all!
If you intend to fly, there is a $15 pilot registration fee and AMA is required. The pilot registration fee also pays for your lunch.

In the past we didn't see a bunch of posts in the forums, but people came out for sure. Last year it rained hard and 25-35 people showed anyway. I think you will be surprised how many people will show.

Keep in mind our field is a county park used specifically for RC Aircraft. We currently do not have electricity. So bring a generator or be prepared to charge batteries on your car. We also suggest bringing folding chairs and a tent so you have your own little place to call home for the day.

Anyone seeking information at our fun fly can approach one of our staff people. You will find 8 people wearing a club logo shirt that says "Staff" on it. Those people will be able to direct you to facilities and answer any questions you may have.

Field Layout
I wanted to show you guys where the parking areas are and where the flying areas are, so I am uploading this image that depicts the areas.
As a side note, the Scale flyers will also be allowed to use the big 3D area to the right to showcase their birds if they so choose.

Pilots arriving near the 9am opening time will be allowed to drive into the pit area for unloading only (see a staff member first). After unloading they must park in the parking lot.

Any vendors should set up just south of the pit area. There is an area between the pits and the parking lot for vendors marked by colored flag and a drainage ditch. Vendors should set up between the colored flags and the drainage ditch.

We will have staff members to help direct pilots and spectators, so ask them if you have any questions. Staff members are clearly marked with Atlanta RC Club Logo shirts.

It's on
We have enough food to feed 150 people or more.
I live within 4 miles of the flying field and flew today when the forecast was showing rain for the whole day. It has been clear for more than 5-6 hours out of the day here.

Last minute details.
No Fixed Wing aircraft allowed. This is a Heli Fun Fly.
We do NOT have electricity at the field, so you will need to charge from your vehicle or bring a generator.
Pilots must have a spotter. If you do not have one our staff will be happy to be your spotter.
Pilots comfortable flying in close quarters should communicate with each other. This means that we will not limit a single flying area to a single pilot unless the pilot that is up requests to do so. Any pilots that plan to fly in the same area should confirm with the other pilot before lift-off.

Menu:
Burgers, Hot Dogs, Chips, Cookies, Snack Crackers, Sodas, Water.
$5 meal includes 1 hamburger or 2 Hotdogs with chips and a drink.
$3 buys a hamburger or 2 hot dogs.
$1 buys a soda or water.
$1 buys a bag of chips.
50 cents buys a pack of snack crackers or a pack of cookies.

We open for flying at 9am. Staff arrives at 8am to open the gate. Do not block the gate. We will have staff in the lot to help arrange parking.

Pilots will be briefed about the flying areas and details when registering. Registration is near the food tent. Ask a staff member if you have any questions.
