You're Right
The Eagles like to fly tight and right. We have tons of fun when we are together and our membership is growing. Jimmy is doing a great job progressing on his flying. His progress has inspired a lot of members to move ahead with their flying.

Progress with the trex 250!
Thanks for all of your advice guys! The tail on my 250 seems pretty solid. I still need to test it outside though. I took care of vibrations, added a bearing to each tail blade grip, made a cf pushrod, set gyro delay to max and servo to analog, and of course removed any binding with the tail. In normal the tail moves to the side a bit if the pitch is pumped but not in idle up. I don't see any wagging in either flight mode. This is with the align ds420 servo. I had already ordered a futaba 3157. Maybe it will be even better? The logitech 3100g servo specs look the best for a micro servo but the align gyro does not support that pulse width. Also, I got my batteries to fit inside the canopy by drilling new mounting holes further back.

I have a deal pending online for the G5 update so hopefully I will see you guys online in a week or so.

I had been there several years ago but I didn't find it to organized but you guys look like you have it all together now. I have been flying as a loner in Western Jo County it would be great to fly with some other Heli guys. I will try and make it to Saturday's meeting.

I just finished reading "the last chapter of whats the use/ or how to fly Helicopters"

Dennis well you asked.
Found a gym.

This Tuesday January 18th, 2011 we will not be able to fly until about 7:00 PM at the old gym.. Elwood is having basketball games in the new gym until real late, so we can not fly in it.. Elwood is also having basketball games in the old gym, but should be done by around 7:00 PM..Hope to see you there, and bring something to fly...

Join us on G5 tonight around 7:00 pm. Look for "Eagles Sod" or "Eagles Nest" on G5 Real Flight. Some of the members get on Phoenix too. Just look for the Eagles sign on Phoenix.

Here's a link to the RealFlight model that I'm using. It's the T-Rex 500 Electric. If you get a message in RealFlight about not having the model that I'm using, you can install this one and it will show up.

Just a reminder. When we go to the meeting we need to bring paper plates and paper towels. We also need to be consideret and watch the noise level. We want to take care of Sean and not get him in truble.
