My SDX appears to have a bent flybar, but not due to a crash, and I really don't recall any hard landings.

It has a gentle curve to the flybar, as though the paddles weighed a bunch. Each paddle sags about 1/8" and the curved flybar is VERY visible to the naked eye. Still flies well.

The heli did sit unflown in my garage for six months and spent a week or two of that in below freezing temperatures. Not sure if that might have something to do with it. But then, my other heli in the garage did not get this bend.

Anyone else experience anything like this? My Raptor, the beater heli, gets flown harder, gets harder landings, and was in the same garage. The SDX is babied in comparison. So why then is the SDX bent?

I don't say this to compare the Raptor to the SDX. Even with the bent flybar the SDX flies better than the beater Raptor.

I say it to explain that I don't understand how flight loads, handling, or storage could have done this.

If someone has had this how did yours get that way?

This tends to happen with the D3 head as well, I'm pretty sure it's because of how compact the flybar cage is. It's very easy to bend in transport through a gentle knock or if the heli is stored in a heli bag with the front of the bag resting on the flybar. I have found the head very sensitive to flybar bending. Doesn't seem to affect it in the air but just not nice to look at.
