Has anyone used this tail servo yet? I know it is pricey, but I am thinking about using this on a Rave 450 FBL with Mini-V.

What is the frame rate of this servo? I was looking at tower's web site and in the tech notes, it says to make sure you change the setting when using a GY520.

Is it the same as the BLS251?

What servo choice would you use for the V-Bar tail?

It looks good on paper. If its anywhere as good as the BLS251, I'd jump all over it. If not, the 3500G is an awesome tail servo for that size heli.

My friend has a bls257 on his rave controlled by a minivbar and it flies very nice. According to him the tail is super solid.

For pulse width I do believe it is 1520us.

Same specs as a S9257 in terms of neutral pulse & framerate, it's 1520usec / 333hz.

Great servo, probably one of the best mini tail servos available right now.

Futaba brushless motor servos last 5 times longer than other servos so the cost per flight is actually lower. I use BLS rudder servos on all my helicopters. It’s nice to see that we now have a choice between a standard size and a mini size brushless servo.

I have a BLS257 on two Beams. (1)FBL with a minivbar and (1)flybarred with a Spartan Quark. Both tails are solid, locked in, and very responsive. I have been very happy with the BLS257. I actually at one time had it on the tail of my Logo 400.

I have 9 flights on my Mini-V Rave and so far it is totally solid! I love it and would say it is worth the money.
