Here is a video of my Flybarless 4G6 using Walkera's new 3 axis gyro/rx 2610S. Very nice so far.

Looking good. How about a couple pics. of the head.

Also are you using the 2801 Pro. If so have you found a way to get the THold to work in idle up? I can get it to work in normal mode.

If you go to http://www.rchobbyhelicopter.com you can find close-up pics of the head and all parts included in the package. I think it is listed under the Walkera Upgrades section.

Yes I am using the 2801 Pro and no I cannot get the TH to work in Idle-up. I know it works in Nor mode but you don't need it in that mode. I guess the only thing we can do is dump the throttle before she goes down and hope for the best. LOL.

Very interesting that Walkera have gone for 3 axis stabilization.

Wow that thing is cheap enough. Great flyin BTW Guys.

I think I am going to reinstall the RX2610S again this weekend. I swapped the Idle Up and THold switches last night so I think I should be able to fly without the THold working in idle ups since the switches are in the right place now.

I know, just don't crash and you do not need THold.

Here is the latest vid of the CNC FLB doing some sick 3D. Manny has the heli dialed in pretty good and the head is performing perfectly.

Mine works in norm, idle 1, idle 2 no problem..Maybe your software in the radio needs updated.. I've had my 2801 pro for probably around 3 months

Are you using the new 3 axis gyro RX model # 2610S?

I could get THold to work with the 2609 RX just not the new RX.

No I use the 8 channel 2801pro receivers.. I bet its just a flaw in the receivers, I bet with enough complaints Walkera would look into the problem and come up with a fix. Now it did work when I had my novus CP setup in the radio and I think the rx was heli-max 2601 it also works flawless in my sim Phoenix.

TH switch for the 2610S is actually the DR for rudder. If you try to use it it will dump to full negative pitch with throttle at 90%.

Throttle and pitch curves are hard coded together so there is no direct adjustment for Throttle curve. If you do adust the throttle curve in 2801 mode then it affects the pitch curve instead.

Those are the 3 main issues with the RX. There is talk thate the 2612 RX (big like the 2801 RX) has full prgramablilty and 3-Axis gyros. To run on a sub-micro you'd have to strip the case... be an interesting project.
