I have the following setup:

JR X9303 Trans
JR 921 Receiver
Align DS610 Cyclic Servos

+-14 Deg Pitch +- 12 Deg Aileron/Elevator

Currently No Dual rates or Exp programmed.
All Travels set to 100%

Swash Programming Numbers
Ail +70%
Elev -78%
Pit +44%

It seems odd to have different "%" for Aileron and Elevator. Anybody else have similar numbers?

You should set your aile and ele to the same number.

The 3G uses the aile value for the internal cyclic ring. The ele value doesn't effect it. But in flight, different values can cause a cork-screw effect in rolls

You should set the ele value to match the aile..

Hell... I can fix that.
Uh oh..
Nope.

25% expo
62% aileron
62% elevator
40% pitch

I'm not sure what the cyclic and collective pitch numbers are at these settings. After maxing the mechanical throws I dialed to these swashmix numbers to get the model to fly like I wanted. This is flying with Radix blades.

I will match the values at 70% and then redo the 3G setup. It only makes sense for the elevator and aileron values to match..

thanks for your replies guys.

For set-up mode yes but for flight mode they control the roll and flip rates individually. It is OK to have them differently (as long as they are the same during set-up).

In his case he only slightly advanced his flip (pitch) rate and that's fine as long as he likes it. If that's how he had them during setup he will however need to redo it.
