Ok I've tried all I could even went through this remote pages and heli instructions.

I have a rave 450, with scorpion esc, scorpion 10 motor, mini g gyro, s9257 tail servo, ds287 cyclics, dx7 tx ar7000rx.

Problem is I can't get the remote programmed for basic flight!
The swashplate is all over the place!

If somebody has at the least the correct servo reversing I would appreciate it! Will be posting pics in my gallery tonight.

I got it to work but now I'm trying to figure out what to do about this remote control that came with the speed control! The motor went to full throttle and luckily I trimmed pretty good, and it stayed at 0 degrees on the floor.

It stopped for a moment an as I went for the battery it started up again! Dang thing caught my hand. Now that I'm back from urgent care ha ha I replaced the flybar.

The throttle was programmer to zero stick and the stick itself was at zero.

Yea I definately need some programming help now. It's bad enough I only understand basic wording. I guess only a real heli pilot can only understand the manual because I only use 10 percent of the functions.

Including 3d setup

I have never programmed a scorpion esc, but one thing I do know is NEVER have the flight pack plugged in and the motor plugged in when you are not on the flight line.... the best thing to do most of the time is disconnect the motor from the esc, in my case those wires are hard to get to so I power up my rave with a 2s lipo and a regulator.

True , but the esc said to bring my rpms of the motor up to where I wanted them hovering the heli for 5-10 seconds and it's supposed to make the adjustments from here on out even if I change batteries.

The last few days I tried my 1800's then tried a 2100 both same company batteries nrg. And it actuaally. Was the same head speed.

now I'm trying to figure out why I have to program my pitch in reverse!

At 0 stick 3d I'm getting positive pitch and the opposite at 100.

I really would like to not have to remember this messed up setting and keep up with learning d/r but I can't until I fix this. Everything works fine and simply reversing the pitch on the remote does not fix the issue.

So I guess I'm scared to adjust it because other than that things are working fine. But I know it's human error in there somewhere.

Also...
You probably have this one covered but with Spektrum, you set your failsafe positions when you bind the Rx to the Tx. Most people go for hold on all channels and throttle hold. So - hopefully - when it's back on air you have a chance.

I basically have the same set up as you running 4s , -8. Early I found that if I was doing tic-toc's or something that was giving the battery a good work out, if the voltage dropped too low the Rx would go into failsafe. Bad...

Now, I have a $15 BEC that runs straight off the main pack and delivers the power to the Rx and all the servos.

If you want to do this ( and strongly advise you do), the servo pin that comes out of the ESC needs to be modified. You have lightest to darkest color. Darkest is always -ve, middle is +ve and the other is the signal. Cut the two power wires and put some heat shrink over them. Then all you have is a single wire into the Throttle Jack of the Rx telling the ESC your power curve / gov / whoever you set it up.

Good luck!
They are tricky little things but once you have them running you will fall in love.
cheers
