Has anybody put a larger rotor head on a smaller shaft using some type of spacer under the head block? I really need to put a 700 head on my 600 for the larger grips.

I might use a predator head if necessary but I hate the century heads.

Well I think I just found a solution, found some NHP blades that are 800mm that are 12 mm roots. I can't seem to find any larger ones around that root size.

Wasn't there talk about a collar/spacer for flybarless heads to be mounted on a smaller shaft? I mean, if I were to do it, I'd make one and just drill out the holes in the proper position. It shouldn't be too bad as long as the tolerances are minimized.

Century makes a 10mm to 12mm head adapter sleeve. I ordered one for my Predator (10mm shaft) to be used with the Align 3G 12mm head. It fit fine over the 10mm shaft but was too loose inside the 12mm head. The resulting play could not be handled by tightening the jesus bolt. I gave up on that adapter and had a new version machined. You can see mine (black) in this image.

You need a 10*12*~10mm brass tube with a slit down the side. Hyperformance or FBH used to make some so their 12mm FBL heads could be used on a 10mm mainshaft. I'm sure if you look around you can still probably find one.

Spindle
You may want to check and see if that spindle (and attachments) can handle 800mm blades. There is a reaon for the bigger stuff on larger birds........Ron
