I'm talking electric here.

2 top contenders in the market going head to head with 2, 90 sized electric full on Helicopters, with both being priced realitivley close.

Never owning either Name brand helicopters, I would like to hear from you guys in the trenches. I'm looking to pull the trigger and order one of the 2 up, so I need some input, as there is NOT much out there but pictures. What is going to be the major differences if any? No bashing allowed!

Thanks

This is a rc helicopter forum where information is attained. If asking for a comparison between 2 different models is offensive to people, then I just call that immature.

I have a pre-order on a Rave ENV. For the same price you can pick your heli in 4 different configuration. FB, FBL,nitro, or electric. Conversion kits after you buy are about $100. Parts are similar in prices a Align and some in pairs such as crash parts. The spare parts and kits are being QCd. They were going to release back in late March, but CY updated some parts and held the release, but he did post it right away. He has a Daily Rave board that he tells what he is doing on the prototypes.

Aurora. I gave up on them two years ago because of the way they do business and bough a Synergy N9.

I don't think anyone can give you an objective answer to your questions; however there is some of buzz on both that you can come up with your choice.

I would get the aurora, the rave looks a bit slapped together like people own 700 trex conversions.

You can always get a Henseleit TDR if you don't mind waiting.

+1 on what Ch47c said.

Which is worse, ignorance or apathy? I don't know and I don't care!

RAVE for sure
Brain at CY is great, he will help you any way he can. Not to mention if it flies anything like my 450 it will be great, second to none. The other manufacturing company you are talking about is still unable to provide support and parts for that matter. Easy decision..

Good Luck

super easy decision, ENV for sure! I have seen it at funflies and it really looks nice, a lot of thought and work went into this helicopter. To top it off Curtis and Brian back up their product with the best customer support in the hobby.

I'm with mike also see the pics you think I'm goin to risk 2 $540.00 hyperions packs in a crash puting in the side I don't like much the way aurora put the packs also I think maybe put the packs and fit is more dificult and maybe if you want to upgrade to 14 cells forgetit in the aurora 7cell lipos don't fit see the way those 6s fit and honestly I use HV setup for long time and maybe you think why run on 14s the answer less mah need to looong flight time and more relaible perfomance and power speechless is the same in the past all say why you want a fbl heli now almost all have 1 or complete fleet i
