I am knee deep in this conversion. I have done a bit of reading already, just wondering if anyone has anything I should be aware of?

Nope, have fun. The 600 file works fine as well. Its about equal to a fast flybar, so I turned mine up to see what it really could do after the first flight. Youll be surprised.

Once you done with set up, take some pictures and post your file. Contact MrMel user to take a look at them. he's been a great help to many of us Vbar fliers.

Yeah, MrMel is the best. I have learned a lot from him of the last couple years. I have been flying V-bar for 3 years now. I am pretty familiar with the system, I just was wondering if there was anything to expect in particular with the T700N. I have the mechanics %90 set-up and I hope to have it in the air by Tuesday or Wednesday. I'll post pics and such as I get a little more time tomorrow.

Only thing is that you should not be afraid to move the balls on the servohorn inwards, most flying with 10-11mm from center.

Was going to say.....its would seem one of the most important things is to get the servo wheel spacng right. Apparently it will fly with incorrect spacing but get it right it makes all the differance. Im so happy with mine ive always got a big smile on my face after every tank.

Its often windy were I live and when others are sat watching....the 700 Vbar just flys great even in strong winds....

What wheels are you using on the servos then? I got to looking and 10-11mm is not very big. On the Futaba star wheel, that is the middle hole on the arms. Any recommendations?

These are ones you need. What pitch range are you guys using on collective and cyclic with that setup? I'll be converting my 700 soon to bar and was wondering. Thanks.
