hey there... I want to use a 20C 3cell lipo as receiver pack... will use regulator... normal RX lipos discharge at 6-10C... if I only draw say 6C from the 20C battery will it actually discharge at 6C? or will a 20C lipo always want to discharge at 20C minimum?

It will be fine. The c rating is a maximum which you won't get anywhere near.

The C rating is the internal resistance of the battery, or as GMP said, the maximum that that battery can provide, it will discharge as much as you ask of it up until that amount.

Make sure your regulator is capable of 12v input, thats a lot of heat to dissapate to bring down the voltage to 6v
