I'm busting my noggen searching for a spot to mount my Gov. sensor on my Srimok.
I'm useing the Align RCE-G600 Governor RCE-G600.
I'm hopeing that I would not have to drill any extra holes on the frame.
I have thought about useing a sensor bracket this might be an opption but I'm still not sure.
need some help here guy's

I'm useing a YS91SR,have similar set up on my TREX 700w/AR7100R and could'nt get the rev limiter to work properly.
this is why I'm opting for the clutch bell mounted sensor.beside the clutch bell has the holes for the magnets so it has to have a spot for the sensor bracket to be mounted on the frame.

Do you already have the (optional) KSM 40-F06 Extension GV mount?

Got it, dan-uk I see what you mean, looked over at an assembley video from Mercuriell and it ansewerd my question.
correct me if I'm wrong, this is a bracket that comes with the kit mounted on the inside of the frames and on this bracket is where you should mount the gov. sensor.

my dougt at first was that I was searching on the frames for the two holes that you would mount the sensor bracket that comes with the govner.

Yes, it's just a small piece of CF that supports any GV sensor. It's positioned in between the main frames, just above the clutch bell, and fixes on to the bottom support for the cyclic servo mount. I think you are right too, it's actually supplied with the kit (not as an optional part).

I found that using the supplied Governor mounting bracket as a template to make a bracket with a vertical slot in it (from an old Vibe 50 G-10 base plate) helped me get the spacing that I wanted for a plus 90% reading on the Futaba GV-1. Mounting location and attachment points were identical to the supplied CF piece. I just created on that had a vertical adjustment.

Look to page 11 of your manual at item 4 Cyclic servo, ext gv mount, and Extension gov mount. The extension is the carbon fiber part that reaches down to the clutch bell, I "strapped" the sensor to the leg on the cf piece with a piece of heat shrink tubing so that it was about 1-2mm from the magnets and checked that the sensor was picking up the magnet. Then I removed the bracket and used a drop of ca and goop and more heat on the tubing so it ain't going anywhere! You can use any sensor but futaba's are too expensive and the backplate sensor isn't configured right and I had an extra Aerospire Multigov sensor. I put two magnets (reversed!) on the clutch bell to balance it so you'll need those too. I had read of people having problems with YS and the sensor so I planned from the start to use another sensor method, the AR7100R gov works fine but you need a helitach to use one. I set the gov in my JR9303 to 72(norm) 75(idle1) 77(idle2). 77 gives max rpm of 1905. 78 gives 1950.

ok so I'll have to measure the sensor location from my trex 700,and drill two oval holes on the GV PLATE so I could have some space to play with.
I already sent for DS610 & 650 Align servos fer my Srimok.
I figure it should go along pretty well with all Align accessories.
when she is done and I can get an mini SD card fer my camera I'll post some photo's.
