Had a friend recommend them and was just wondering if anyone had tried them or any of the others they make on a Heli. I'm thinking about grabbing a set for the 700E. Specs are nice, and the feedback I did find seemed o.k. just not on this pack.

C Rating: 45C/80C
Balancer Connector: JST
Battery Wires: 10 awg

If I designed a pack with this rating, I would have used an 8 guage lead on it ...... maybe I am just a little too anal!

Specs look good. If the price is right even better. My thunder power 45C packs came with 10 awg wire.

Just wondering if there is anyone out there that has tried the xps and put them to the test I'm not trying to cheap out on the lipos but every buck adds up in this hobby.....
They sound great but I want to make sure xps are not gonna cost me a $2000 heli when the $30-$50 bucks for a Hyperion or TP could have worked better............

I have 4 xps packs 2 in 3200 6s and 2 in 4000 6s no complaint's. Awesome power ,good price.mine are the previuos generation packs and they come with 8 gage wires.
I give the XPS the nod over the hyperion's, I have a pair of hyperion 25c 4000 6s packs aswell and the xps packs definatley outperform them.

Century heli rep. To much power is never enough.

185 is a damn good price for 6S 4500-5000. TP packs cost upwards of $279.00 each. Enough for 2 flights = $1200...The XPS packs seem like a really good deal to me.

$279 each - LOL.
I haven’t seen anyone at the field with TP batteries in a couple of years. I am surprised that they are still in business with prices like that.

Turnigy is the best battery these days. They have more power and last for more cycles than the expensive brands. I have a Raptor 90 EP conversion (12s) that I use Turnigy 30/40C and 35/45C batteries and have over 200 flights. I would not even think about getting another brand.

Turnigy 6s 5000 30/40C are only $70.20
35/45C are $99.99

Been flying my Venom 50C 5000mah 6s for about 50 flights now. It is an awesome battery and still performs like new. I fly this with my 600 ESP with the 600M motor. After a 5 minute flight of hard 3D, it comes down at around 95 degrees.

I paid $189 from ultimatehobbies.com. Reason I got this was the 1 year replacement warranty. You do it through the hobby store.

Just cant make up my mind...... Hyperion 6s VX 5000, ThunderPower G4 5000, or XPS 6s 5000. I would love to have the TP but they are so much more expensive, yet they are the best out there right now

Thank for the HobbyCity recommendations, but I have tried them and they didn't hold up for hard 3d..... They work great for sporty flight, but been there done that. The G3/G4 packs are completely different technology, and that's why the cost more. They last hundreds of cycles longer, hold power thru most of the flight, and charge reliably at 5-6C, at a lower weight than anything HobbyCity has.
