Hi my 450 flew amazing until I decided to go fbl, the 3g didn't work with my spektrum parkflyer receiver, so I tried the ar 7000 I had laying around, that worked, so about 20 secs into every flight I had a loss of signal. Now the question is if the wires from the satellite are too close to the brushless motor wires would that cause signal loss?

is there anything else that happens 20 seconds into flight? Like, are you flying away for 20 seconds?

Also, does it happen if the helicopter is on the bench in the shop...after 20 seconds? Please post a picture of your setup, maybe that will give some hints.

During time period Heli is about 15 feet away from me in a hover once I go in idle up that's when it goes crazy, maybe the burst of current in the motor wires after I go in idle up is creating a magnetic field?

is it going to failsafe? If it isnt, what makes you think it lost signal?

Brown Out???
It is either what Chris is mentioning about a signal loss or the power is dropping too low to your rx and causing a "brown out".. What size esc are you running... the the flybarless set up you are going to draw a LOT more amperage.... since it happens when you go to idle up, that is what I would start to check....

After this happens is the led in the rx blinking, but all works again???

If you are using a linear BEC built in to the esc , that's probably your problem .

At the end of the day , it gets dark .

Align Compatable.....
The stock esc sent with Align kits will do what the kit was intended for.... but adding the 3g adds to the demand on you power system.... I would just add an external BEC in line with the battery connections and you should cure the problem easily....
I have been useing the Castle Creations 10amp unit with very good luck...and you can set your voltage at 5.8 volts and supply your entire system without a step down on the tail if you want... that is what I do...
Oh and if you do add the separate BEC don't forget to pull the red wire coming from ESC so that you do not double up on the voltage
