At the Hobby shop near the base here in Japan there is a heli for sale that has an engine in it with a nipple and a fuel tube coming out of the back plate. I have not seen this before. What is that for?

I need to get a second job just to buy parts.

Most likely a YS. They use crankcase pressure instead of muffler pressure to pressurize the tank.

My pumped version of the Os 91 Hz has that too. I guess it drives the pump???

For driving a pump via a one way valve.

Some four strokes have crank case vents, but I doubt it's a 4 in a heli.

Both could be correct.

Could be a YS with crankcase pressure, could be a 90 with a pump.

If its a 50 then its a YS

It had a blue head on the engine. It was a small heli though. looked smaller than my .30
