Sure, take the throttle trim and pull it all the way down.

I put this on Mix4 but it can go on Mix3 thru Mix6. You may need to adjust the Offset (currently -130) by looking at the Monitor screen, Throttle output. You want the throttle output to be at the cut location (throttle off) when the flight mode is Normal and the Gear switch is down. Check that the gear switch has no effect in any idleup or throttle hold mode. And that it has almost no effect at most throttle positions in Normal mode. It only will do anything at low throttle positions. The only switch available is the Gear switch (GER in the picture).

WARNING Don't lower the trim and flip the gear switch at the same time or you will over drive your throttle servo.

Plan B - Just follow BarracudaHockey's instructions, above. That is what I do. My first radio was a Futaba and this is one thing I miss. With the DX-7 that had digital trims, I used this trick and liked it a lot. With my X9303 and its analog trim, just lowering the trim lever to kill and putting it in the middle to idle is fine.

It's on that screen. The only choices are flight modes (all off) and GER for the Gear switch (that one is ON in the picture. That was the only choice on the DX7 as well and you had to use a specific mix, so this is just a little better.

Also, I am adding a warning to the post above.
