how many needle valves do it have to tune the motor ?

im a beginner pilot and im liking what im seeing from
the videos and comments .

and its just a 100 dollar upgrade from my .rl 53 if i do this right
just dont know if its worth the trouble the 100 bucks is no big deal today.

i have a nice heli ad would be a nice upgrade i think.

2 needles high and low end high is on one side low on the other low is INSIDE the throttle arm you adjust mainly the high needle i found low needle is pretty good from factory may need a small adjustment but that's all i upgraded from a redline 53 also and way more power.. WAY more im even using it to swing 630's but flybarless so evens out

Great motor thats what i run in my trex 600 always been a nova rossi fan when i raced cars heavely i ran nova rossi and only nova rossi. As far as tuning goes you will have better luck with nova rossi over the tt53 the 53 from what iv seen from it and other tt motors the motro mediocre at best with garbage carb. The rossi can be tempermental but once you got the sweet spot she will sing like a bird and pull like a freight train.Depending on nitro content you run u may have to add a shim or remove one to facilitate tuning another thing they can take alot more heat than other motors 210 will not cook them they like it .Rich

thanks guys all my pals are telling me that im not ready for th .57 yet to stick with my tt 53 plus i read they have had problems from their company about with horrible support from the Novarossi company

their issues my be better now but looks like im gonna have to force my self to wait before i upgrade my motor

i basically like to do fantastic punchouts and practice orientation
and a little ff.

i felt like the .57 would be so fantastic for my purposes

and the motor might have even lasted me a while since i dunno how to be rough yet.

imho-save your $$ for crash parts.

Im not a big fan of TT either, yes i have hands on experience with them. However, if its running ok for you, save your $$ till your rdy for the extra power.
Chances are by then, you will have decided to go another engine route anyways.

I am selling a used novarossi 57, 4 gallons, great condition, with pipe (the pipe has some black coating missing from landing in the grass) for 200 together.

Thanks,

Dan

You should get it. Or any of the new 55 class engines. When i was learning i got good to a certain point but never progressed because i was never able to do a manuever because i ran out of power, once i got a nicer engine i was able to do alot of different things i couldnt pull off before.
If you really want to get better go with a better engine.

Well I don't have one but I saw on youtube Tareq Alsadid or something like that fly an outrage with a nova 57. From what I have seen they are pretty awesome but from my experience with the truggy and buggy racing they are very awesome, got a mod 21 +5 nova and it rocks. If my hyper ever bombs out on me I plan on getting one. Look at the nova engine clips on youtube and judge by how they run.

There is no such thing as up, it's all out...

I am going to vote, get your moneys worth out of the .53... by the time you'll want to replace it, you will know what you want, without having to have us talk you into it!
