Last night while installing the Mod 1 tt and auto gear I notice the front of the boom has a hole opposite of the grove. The boom mount also has a hole in the same location. I looked in both 600 & 700 manuals and it did not show this. I opened a new 600 boom mount package and it came with a 3x5mm screw for extra support I guess. On my 700 I had to use a 4x6mm screw. Here's the kicker...I opened a brand new package of 700 Align booms and they don't have that hole. I guess when it comes time to install those new booms I'll have to put it in the mount, mark it and drill. Has anyone else experienced this?
