Hey guys,

I'm about to stick on some stickers to two models. The stickers are printed on clear adhesive backed acetate and are already die-cut.

What I was trying to remember was what sort of liquid solution I could use to apply to the fuselage/canopy that will allow me to slide on and position the sticker without it immediately sticking to the surface, but will adhere once dried out.

Was it Windex? Soap/water?

I've done this once before on a T-rex canopy, but can't remember getting old at 32 already :P

nm guys,

1. clean surface with soap/water, windex, denatured alky or rubbing alky & wash hands

2. apply 50/50 mix of water/windex or some lightly soaped water to surface

3. submerge sticker in liquid mixture

4. apply sticker to wet surface, position, then squeeze out water and air

4. dry with a socked covering iron or hair dryer
