Which Futaba servos fit the 400 frames without modification?

I think most would agree, not all this is RR!, that the 9650s are the servo of choice. Some install the metal gears available. I choose not to as the servo gears are a good weak link in a crash. They can help dissipate alot of crash energy. They also leave no doubt when they are bad. Metal gears some times get a defect in the gear during a crash that does not show up at an economical time.

I used the Savox 1350 servos as per the Mikado website on my V-Bar 400. They fit right into the frame and are plastic gears.

I had a tip over crash and stripped the servo gears. About 15 euros per gear set, and I was back in the air.

Personally, I liked the fact that my servo gears stripped acting as the weak link, saving all my linkages, blade grips, swash plate etc etc.

mks 9670 +, they fit perfect, got enough torque and they are crazy fast, plus the titaniun gears will hold on during a crash.

But if the titaniun gears hold during a crash, what breaks instead?
This will probably be more $s than 3 sets of plastic gears.

to take the servos out, change the gears, put them back and redo the setup is a PITA!.
i run 9660 mks with great results! To change the link or a rod is much easier and quicker!
trust me.Ask me how I know.....

Guys, I fly for Team Futaba. I just want to know which Futaba sertvo fits. I'm sure other servos fit and will work fine but I will not use them.
