Is there a -1 or a Mod 1 Update for the Trex 600N ?

I tend to strip gears in this bird more than the 700N..........

Rock What motor are you running that your stripping ? How much pitch your you using? I cranking 2200HS and 13/13p with Mod Novarossi 57 havn't stripped a gear. I don't think anyone makes Mod-1 gears for 600N..

It's not the main gear I am stripping.

It's the stupid TT front gear! I think they are made out of dehydrated butter.

Yes Yes - I know I can mess around and slow down the stop speed on the Gyro, but in my opinion, a helicopter should be able to take anything I throw at it in the sky!

A lot of guys whine when something is "fragile" in a crash, and I think they are out in left field with that most of the time. But I don't think I'm asking too much that a heli does not self destruct when flying it!

This is a bad philosophy, most all models can be broken in the air, they are machines, if you listen they will tell you what you’re doing wrong as all machines will. With that said some people do slot the frame holes for the tail boom clamp and move the clamp/front transmition forward to remove the slack between the front transmition and the bottom main gear.

Rock it sounds like you have your piro speed higher than honsety needed and/or the gyro stopping so hard it's stripping gears. Something has to give.. You can only appect so much from plastic gears.. Are you running the white or gray gears? i'm guessing the White gears as I think Align stop making the gray gears for the 600n. I think/feel the gray gears were stronger too and i''m down to my last set of gray ones. There's a point when a tail is just to fast to control corretly.

You should have seen the tail on my T500 when it came out and i install a JR770 gyro set with 150 ATV and 100% D/R It was a Blurrrrr..LOL Lucky it was a belt because gear woulod have strip when i let go of that stick...

Exactly! The mesh from Align is WAY too open.

If they can't get the math right for the location of the boom assembly, then they should make it adjustable so we don't have to do this mod!

Rock I'm not saying it wouldn't be nice to be able to adjust but your the first i've heard having a problem . I can go to my field on any giving weekend and there's 6-10 Trex 600N flying and none have every strip a anti rotation gear or boom housing gears in flight. That wasn't cause from boom strike or crash... I really think you need to look for something causing this...
