Hi Guys,

I puchased a Trex 450 Pro combo V3 with Align servo's and 35A X ESC.

I am using the ESC in governor mode and assign the speed input to channel 8 of the reciever (8channel Dualconv. micro reciever)witch is controlled by a VR potmeter(ch8) on my FF9 transmitter.

Everything is working fine and i can adjust the headspeed between 2600 and 3200 RPM,but after 30 to 60 seconds the headspeed is dropping and the headspeed becomes uncontrolable low.

Settings of the ESC: No brake/Timing 2(outrunner)/Medium discharge/Governor mode/fast throttle response.

The 3S 2250mah 20C Lipo is fully charged and al the other channels are behaving normal.

Does anyone had a simular problem with the Align 35A X ESC?

Any advice is welcome.

keep them in the air !!!

Do you mean the setpoint of the speed input of the ESC is not high enough? (headspeed is about 3000-3200 RPM,VR channel or fixed input is the same for the ESC isn't it?

Danny.

It is pretty well documented here on RR that the Gov mode on the 35A sucks and should not be used.
ditto snjbird.
If you do get the HS thing fixed, you will (most likely) run straight into tail kicking problems.

I use heli mode without the gov. on all my electrics and they work best that way for me.... I just double check the head speed with the tach, to make sure im not gonna throw parts.

Lots of Align ESC's in my stable.
None with a governor worth enabling.

I literally never use the word literally right.
