I dont know about you but I cant afford a $15 sack of carrots.
Right now in Arizona they bus thousands of workers in from Mexico LEGALLY to work fields and greenhouses in Arizona. They go back at the days end to Mexico.

I'll agree that we might need to adjust some resident worker rules and tweak some other things, but amnesty should not be a consideration. You don't get to break the rules then get rewarded for such behavior.

Actually, it is pretty easy to solve the problem. First, secure the borders. Second, remove the incentive to come here, i.e. hit the employers HARD so they stop hiring them. Police the day laborer sites. Without jobs there is no reason for them to be here, then there will be a mass self-deportation. We won't have to round them up, they will remove themselves for the most part. Everyone wants to make this complicated.

Then and only then, can we rationally look at what needs to be done to "fix" immigration policy.
