I also think if Heaven does exist and you were somehow given a glimpse of it, you would be likely be more petrified of death than any athiest.

I dont mean that in a negative way, that heaven is a bad place, or even trying to frighten anyone in any way, it may be a higher level of existence, but a completely different reality to anything we can understand.

Im not saying thats my opinion or what I beleive, just simply speculateing on possibilities.

""I think reduceing something on this magnitude to an old man with a beard talking to another old man with a beard on a mountain is not logical""

then, could you think it very Logical that an Alien came from another Planet or from a Parallel Universe and got a Virgin Pregnant and told Noah to build that Ark ???? when the Bible it's self talks of Flying Machines

the ancient astronaut theory is extremely interesting.

i read the book 'ancient astronauts' when i was eleven and was amazed when the discovery channel came out with the ancient alien series.

fascinating stuff with a boatload of hard evidence that is very difficult to dispute.

I think Chariots of the gods by Eric Von Daniken came to alot of conclusions that basically tried to explain biblical events that occured as being of non earthly origon.

I cant rememeber (would need to google it ) but stuff like he told some dudes to runaway from the city that was about to be turned to fire, and not look back or they would get blinded, and everything written in the Bible was pretty much on par with a Nuclear detonation, lots off stuff like that.

Ive thought about it long and hard, and allthough my side of the table (science) would argue evolution has got us this far, something just doesent seem to make sense with the idea that in the whole history of the planet, where the only species to have civilization and technology.

Weve only had modern civilization for 2000 years or so, and mordern technology as we know it not much more than 100 years, weve been running around naked and hunting just the same as all the other animals for over 100 000 years, what happened all of a sudden that now we drive automobiles??

Technology, I have read were from 1900 to 2000 it has doubled every 10 years. Thats 1000 times more advanced than 1900.
In 2010 it doubled again and now we are 2000 times more advanced than 1900.

Don't know if it accurate but it sure looks like it.

Corona, I'll buy that. I think the most advances I have seen all around has been in the last 10 years alone.

All that being said how advancement has accelerated so much over 2000 years, it almost seems to me that its also come to a rather rapid halt in the last 20 or so.

I have a 6 year old Digital Camera that cost me $270, but today you can buy a Camera that is 10x better for only $99, and that $99 Camrea is 50x better than a $400 Camrea from 1974,, but go buy yourself a "quality" Battery for your 18hp Lawn Mower and it will cost you $60 to $90 where 8 years ago it would only cost $40 (yes I just bought a new battery for my Mower and I am pissed cause it cost me $60),, what's up with that..

It's too bad that one of the most fascinating items, the Long artifact (aka "10 million year old hammer" ) appears to be a hoax due to the his vested interest in the matter, distortion of the facts and willigness to ignore what seem to be valid explanations, and his unwillingness to allow it to be tested. Unfortunately, Googling around for info on such things tends to have you run into a lot of one-sided stores from those with the most to gain and very few from the other perspectives.

Well, that still leaves like the the tiny Russian spirals/screws, how some of of the crystal skulls were made (even if they do prove to be hoaxes), and a few other mysteries.

They found the sculls to be fraud. Testing them under electron microscopes and found modern cutting abrasives only available in that region and time period. Don't remember what the abrasive was but it was something harder than quarts of course. Well one of the sculls anyway.

Yeah, a bunch of skulls were shown to be fakes. As far as I can tell though, not all of them. It's difficult to link all the info together since they don't usually give too much in depth info about a single skull.

The Mitchell-Hedges skull in particular. I could be wrong just from the information I can find, but I think that one is still a mystery. It has some aspects of it that they don't seem to know how to pull off now, like prisms and lenses inside the skull and carving against the grain (well they figured this one out, except it would take 300 years of continuous work which could be considered an implausible method).

corona ive been to Peru where the spaceman is and its nothing more the dirt kicked off to the side of a dusty hill to make the pattern. Its alos almost a let down by how small it really is. I bet they didnt spend a week on that alone. I was thinking 2 days.

As far as the skulls and the ones that are not fake.

Ancient man did nothing but work on stones and rock cutting skills. Not for a job here or there but for generations after generations and these skills were past down for thousands of years in some cases only lost in present time. Look what we did in modern times in a 100 years they had the same smart brains and had thousands of years to perfect what they had at hand.

If you have seen the stones at Puma Punku roughly 17,000 years ago carving a few skulls is childs play
