This is a tinkerer's dream machine right here. Double brushless Wow Hobbies upgraded (i.e. quality components) Turbo Ace main motor and 2.9g tail.
I'm looking to either trade up for a Gaui 200or trex 250 (plus some cash) or flat out sell it for $150 shipped. I will also consider other trades. Let me know...
I just rebuilt this sucker and figure I should sell it before it gets trashed again...basically all new components
2605a Reciever 4in1 (<10 flights)
wk-02-1 servos (<10 flights)
70 durometer dampeners
New main frame and bearings
MIA built tough landing gear (trimmed in the front to keep tail clear of ground...fairly beat up but fully functional)
Paper canopies (lighter, look cooler and protect better in crashes)
ESC's soldered directly to motors
I have done rolls and inverted flying with this machine and it demands collective management! It has helped my 450 flying tremendously. Very quick little machine.
However, please read this carefully:
These are delicate machines which were require PRECISION setup. You must have a very smooth rotating main shaft, any vibration at all and your tail will become uncontrollable. This means, be prepared to spend some time after a crash going through the heli checking to make sure everything is rotating true. Taping blades to balance vibrations as well as balancing the flybar is required. I have set this thing up in my room then packed it up for the park only to arrive and have it out of balance again. If you want this thing to fly correctly it takes time and effort. These don't fly like the videos out of the box. Anyone who tells you that is lying to your face. You have to pay attention to your setup. So if you think you are up to the challenge (very rewarding though when you flip that thing upside down for the first time 10 ft from your face...safety glasses!) take it off my hands. I'm moving to a 250. I'm no Manuel Campos...
-2601 tx (I would recommend the 2801 tx but this is fully capable and working perfectly)
-carbon fiber blades
-3 tail rotor blades)
-main frame (bearings are worn)
-cnc flybar connectors
-cnc main rotor arms
-2 500 mah 20c batteries (old)
