The reason I ask is that I bought some items from vendor in Ebay that come from Hong Kong but since I haven't received them yet I contacted and they say

"...Really sorry for the long time kept you waiting.Due to the ash cloud from a volcano eruption in Iceland drifting over Europe, most airports across Europe are closed and there is disruption to flights, all mails of HK Post were held at HK airport, which leading packages going to America and Australia will also be delayed for 3-5 business days..."

Which I'm not sure is real or just plain BS so I'd like to know if somebody from the US had ordered and received from HK in the last few days.
Thanks,

I ordered from HobbyKing and there was no problem with shipping. I checked the tracking and the package made it from HK to USA in two days with EMS shipping.

If you skip me I can't play!

What would they have to gain by not shipping goods that have been sold and in stock?

I took them 4 days to inform me that my items have been packed. It has been a week now ans still showing processing. I do not understand why I paid EMS fee for this shipping. I wish there are vendors in USA selling similar items. When that heppens, good bye HK since this has not been a good buy.

Thanks

Mac

My delay was with HK. They moved into a new warehouse and it took them awhile to get the orders processed. Once shipped it only takes 5-6 days to get it here. I think it took them 5 days to process mine.

I just want to make clear that I'm NOT talking about hobbyking/hobbycity here, It's a different store just to make sure nobody think I'm bashing hobbyking/hobbycity.

But, just because I mention them...
The last two times I ordered from hobbycity I used the Paylater option with PP and I still don't know how that works, my bank account shows as debited and both times I had to call HK because my order showed as unpaid with the items unreserved!!!
They solved it right away but as I said don't know how that works, and I won't figure it out since I won't use that paylater option again

I'm not bashing them either, just stating what happened with MY most recent order. My previous order with them shipped that night!

I have a freind that ordered from Hobby King last month, it took four weeks for him to get his stuff!

If your going to order from overseas, expect it to take a while, you might get it faster, just don't expect it fast.

Which is worse, ignorance or apathy? I don't know and I don't care!

If you ship EMS you should get the stuff in 5-6 days, unless it gets hung up in customs. Like I said the issue with mine was on the processing end at the warehouse. The batteries were in stock and it only took 5 days to get here once they were shipped.

Things seem to stay on processing for days now, where last year and the year before it would only stay on processing for a couple of hours or so.

I used to be able to order on Monday, and the item would arrive Thursday, incredibly Ive had more than one order thats actually arived on Wedsday, even now once it changes to shipped im amazed how fast it gets here (AUS) 2 - 3 days max.

Hobbyking is really pi#&ing me off. They have my last order.
I have an order in processing for 9 days and counting. Complete BS. They take my money instantly so I cant get interest on it and hold my product for 2 weeks or longer..If your not even gonna ship anything to me don't take my money until your ready.. Should be illegal.Processing..that is garbage. Doesn't take 9 days to put stuff in a box and ship it. Especially with the amount of people they have working there. BYE BYE HOBBYKING

I wonder if HK assembles the packs on location like TP does. If they do, and they got a lot of orders, I could see why there could be delays on the processing end.

I didn't order any batteries. I ordered 2 chargers and some blades.
Maybe EMS is faster but that is shipping times. NOT processing times. If they are gonna stiff everyone who doesn't get EMS on processing times then they should list: "Processing could take anywhere from 9 days to Whenever the hell we feel like getting to your order."
If they had a post like that then I would have paid the extra $15 for EMS.
I learned 2 Lessons from this.
1) Never buy from them unless its EMS shipping.
2) Never buy from them.

I can get blades from helidirect just as cheap and fast. Batteries are only getting cheaper over here.

Have you sent them an email? 10 days seems like something wrong.

It seems to take 3 days on processing wich is still too long I think.
