At first looks I thought you build a dragon fly or scorpion

It was in the air, but now it's on the ground. :)

Same thing happened to me on Sunday. It was fairly windy but nothing I couldn't handle. Started the engine, thought I'd let the engine warm up a bit with the blades spinning. Took my eye off it for a second, and the next time I looked, a gust of wind tilted it forward and bang, broke one of my carbons and slightly bent the blade spindle.

The center section of the heli actually ripped out in one piece.
Driveline and head. Most of it was destroyed. Even the center hub was bent about twenty degrees. All three bearing blocks were bent. The center section was 50 feet from the heli. All of the electronics were about 20 feet in the other direction. Reciever, vBar, ect.

Wellll if you just have to know what happened i'll spill the beans. It was actually part slysters fault and he wasn't even there. It was my third day with the vBar and I was having a blast. Still getting used to it. I was super confident and was doing the best flying I ever have. I was daydreaming about slysters pictures of his awesome charging setup. Wondering if I should really try Turnigy batteries. Calculating all the money it would save me. There was also a one day old 5000 Hyperion in the heli. I was doing about 80 mph in a vertical dive when my friend drove up to fly. Yes I turned my head for a second to see who it was. The vBar made me way over confident. For those who have flown an Outrage 550, know that a paniced over control happens so blistering fast with so much power that it can lead to this.
