I can't for the life of me figure this one out. I have a new 12FG and want to put my gyro on a switch. I have it set up on the conditions right now. However, I would like to be able to turn it from norm to HH on a switch without changing conditions. Any ideas how to do it?

Are you using the gyro menu or end point adjustments?

Hopefully I can explain this.......................

I do this so I can turn the gyro from RATE to HH in IDLEUP1

Goto the gryo menu. At the top of the screen you will see (next to GYRO) "RATE 1 2 3". Flip your condition switch so your are in IDLEUP1. "RATE 1" should be bold. Scroll down to SWITCH, select it and pick a switch. I use Switch SD. On the switch screen, choose the ON/OFF selection and set the switch to ON-OFF-OFF.

Back on the gryo menu screen, still in IDELUP1, hit the S1 button to change to "RATE 2" (RATE 2 should be bold now). Activate this rate, select the same switch as you did above (I used Switch SD), set teh switch to OFF-OFF-ON.

Make sure you set your gryo parameters on the RATE 2 screen to corrolate to NORMAL MODE and the gryo paramaters on the RATE 1 screen to HH MODE.

So if you did it correctly, with Switch SD all the way up, the gryo will be HH MODE (RATE 1 will be bold), when you flip switch SD all the way down, RATE 2 will be bold and the gyro will flip into NORMAL MODE. This will only work in IDLEUP1, if you want to do the same thing in normal or idleup2, you will need to do the same steps above for each flight condition.

Hope this helps.

Thanks. This radio has so many bells and whistles. I'm figuring it out quickly though. I like the conditions function as my 9C Super didn't have it. It takes a bit of getting used to but in the long run it's worth it. Thanks again for your help, it was just what I needed.

No problem. Glad it helped. I have had my 12FGH for about a year now and am STILL learning about some of the things it can do.
