Hi,

It's been such a long time since i have rejoined this hobby of mine which perished . I want to get learning asap.

I am a student and I don't want something that costs an absolute bomb. Yet, I want something stable, strong and with easily replaceable parts. I have the E-SKY Belt-CP in mind (but I'm not up-to-date, are their better out there now?). Or T-REX 450? However, I've checked around it stretches my budget.

I am intending to begin on a kit so I can build it myself, simply to understand the inner workings once again.

All help would be appreciated.

I am happy to be back onto this forum and i will like to say HELLO AGAIN !

Thank you in advance!

Zukky.

If you want to build and money is no object then the Trex would be a good choice.

Esky's electronis leave a little bit to be desired though.

Do you have your own Tx..??

The Eflight B400 would be a good choice also.

Returning
Welcome back "Zukky" I agree with these guys trex pieces fit togather very well & require little guess work. Try to get with your local flying guys as they can fit you with something compatable based on your personality. "Have fun & report back"

If you want to build it, I would go with something like a Trex 450 or Trex 500. That depends on what size and cost you want. Just stay away from the shaft drive. Any little strike will cause damage and the shaft if a bit of a pain to change. Go with a belt drive.

Trex 700E / Trex 500 ESP - Ikon/ HD 500 - Ikon 2/ Goblin 500 Ikon 2

Hey peeps. Thx for the replies. I have checked around and it seems that the t-rex is expensive. Do you think I should get a trex kit and find electronics that are best for my budget. I know how expensive this hobby can become. What is the best frame size to begin with? If not T-rex, then? Thank you.

if trex 450 pro complete kit with all electronics is expensive for you, don' take this the wrong way but you may want to reconsider getting back in to this hobby.

trex 500 would be the best to start with thats what i started with for everything i ndd bind n fly it cost me about 1200 through grand rc thats charger 3 2600 lipos and all but transmitter i already a dx7 so of course i used it.The 500 is super stable if set up right and parts are easy and fairly priced and low parts count now ther are some decent trex500 copys that are compatible with trex parts that u can get too bring costs down but never skimp on electronics it cost u big in the end .Rich
