Hello friends,I have a Hirobo 50 Sceadu with a OS hyper 50 engine on it. I'm ready to install a Futaba governor GV-1. I have the manual and it tells me the magnet placement on the cooling fan for a 60 or a 30 size engine but not a 50, is this governor compatible with a 50? If so can someone advise on how to obtain the correct placement. also if someone can advise me on a good quality with a lower price, if there is such a thing while still having a LCD display for a governor for the same setup above for my other Helli. Thanks in advance for taking the time to read this and possibly advise.

What goes up must come down, It's how hard and painfully it comes down is what really matters.

The GV1 should have come with a couple of sensor mtg brackets that mount to the engine mounting boss's.

Trial fit the sensor to the bracket attach it to the engine and see if there is a magnet pocket on the fan.

If not then carefull drill a hole in the fan and use some 5 min epoxy to secure it.

Be mindful to the polarity of the magnet.

as I recall, the Sceadu fan has a pocket molded into it for the magnet.

YOU MUST TEST THE MAGNET POLARITY BEFORE YOU GLUE IT IN.

as far as which bracket; the answer is 'whatever fits and works'. You might want to also put some heatshrink tubing around it once you get the placement right as the GV1 sensor can be prone to cracking.
