That was cool, I've been wanting to see a vid from this perspective. Interesting to see the swash movements in flight.

There is also a guy on rcgroups that sells them in the states. He gets then in bunches and tests each one before they go out. They are $21 and work great.

cameras...
I have a 4GB micro card in mine...

it takes roughly 250MB for 6minutes...

so I'm guessing you could get about 1 1/2+ hours or so of video on a 4gb setup?

roughly

They are pretty cool. I see that no one else sets the date on these things.
I did a couple times, then said forget it.
Be sure to get one with external mem, not internal, they dont work as well ive heard.

Mine arrived today. Can't wait to try it out!
Here's a wealth of info:

Includes info on how to set date and time. That will be my 1st priority.
(the URL's '808' has nothing to do with my runryder ID 'n808' )

Al, that has to be the coolest heli footage I've ever seen. What a cool idea. I'd like to see a throttle servo and tail servo in action too, but might need a higher frame rate and vibration attenuation.

What is the wobbling noise between 1:40-1:45? Were you cracking the cyclic? If so, do it again!! I also like hearing the tail gears get on and off pressure, unique sound of the electrics.

Now that we all know what the a helicopter's point of view is, how can ANYONE fly hard 3D and not feel guilty about scaring the poor thing to death (and sometimes actually all the way to death)? It's heli abuse. I'm starting a campaign. NO MORE 3D! NO MORE 3D!

Just kidding on the heli abuse stuff.

I'd like to see a throttle servo
Here is throttle captured during a flight with my 600N. It's not a video, just a graph as logged by Eagle Tree's eLogger. I was running 1950-OVSP. When I first saw these I was surprised to see how fast it changes. I have a HS-82MG on throttle, and the digital servo setting in MultiGov off. The throttle scale to the right is odd, but you can assume the peaks are max throttle.
