Mikado already makes a bunch of Mod .7 pinions in 5mm shaft size, that are perfect for the 1100 kv motors. They go from 12 tooth all the way to 19 tooth. See here:

I haven't done the math, but you might even be able to use the 900 kv version with the larger pinions.

I have been running the Pyro 600-9 for about 2 weeks. Heres the set up...

Kontronik 80HV
8s 4000mah 30C
RotorTech 560mm main
Curtis 95mm tail
13 tooth mod 0.7 pinion
+/- 12 deg pitch
V-Stabi

80% on the gov gives me about 2300rpm. Heaps of power, no bogging and motor comes down very cool. Haven't beaten on it hard for a whole pack yet but yesterday flew 6 mins which half of which was circuits, loops, rolls and the other half was flips, tic tocs and general pitch pumping and I put 3000mah back into the battery.

Sorry but I don't have eagle tree or any form of data logging so the motor performance info is purely anecdotal.

I know, this thing is tiny. Had me worried when I pulled it out of the packaging, but it’s rated for 2000W continuous and it only weights 220 grams! Thats zee Germans for you.
