We are only talking 20mm more than an SE, right? What happens in that last 3/4" that suddenly makes belts go crazy?

Could this also not be solved with a bigger diameter boom and larger pulleys?

I like belt and TT equally.

I like belt for the low noise, simple drive train (direct off main shaft) low weight and quiet flying style.

I like Torque Tube for the fact that there is no belt to worry about failing mid flight, or slipping/getting caught up. And it's more efficient in flight, noticeable on autos.

I wouldn't care either way, as long as the TT is quiet and Logo-like I say .

I'm liking the idea of a quiet TT. I would hate for my Mikado to loose is quietness.
