Best thing for windows is Goop, from the auto parts store, tacky for application dries clear, holds with nitro, and the best part is you can take them out if needed. The dried goop comes right off.

Going to put the mechanics in it to try and go to the Laid Back Scale Funfly in Kansas City next weekend. I am not sure if I can go, but I really want to!

Don't rush it.... I did that once and ended up crashing for loss of tail. Now I no longer try to rush building scale helis to get them ready for a fun fly. Rushing sometimes leads to disaster

You test flew it naked, right? I agree there's no point in rushing it, but if you go to the Laid Back Funfly (great name) then by all means don't take your model just for show because you're chicken and it's unfinished. Take it and fly (if just a few more test hovers) because none of us know how many grains of sand are left in our hourglass.

I mention this because my neigbor and friend with whom I have been riding a bicycle for exercise in the mornings was feeling a little 'off' so he went to the doctor only to learn he's got stage 4 cancer. Anyway, recently he and I were killing a bottle of good single malt scotch and he said, "I wish I'd taken more time for some things."

Winter is coming pal, stop and smell the roses (and have fun).

On second thought, there will be plenty of experienced scale pilots that could help air some of the bugs out, as said

Sorry to hear about you friend, very true... We never know how long we have....

Well got it all together now. Took some pictures of it today. Then I got this hair bone idea to do a test hover with it. I must say it was a lot better than the pod-n-boom!! Forgot to plug the motor in, DUH! Batteries were low so just did a short hover. Uploading video to youtube now. Will post it later.

Ok, here's the video. I didn't realize I forgot to plug the motor into the ESC. So you can skip to 3:58 to see it actually hover!

Thanks. I was kind of scared. But when it lifted nice and slow, I think I will start doing some short tests with it.

Heck I may even think of trading my Logo 400 for another scale machine, 90 electric!

Here's a short video with the GoPro mounted in the fuse to the airframe. I mounted in the pilots view so I can see what it looks like. And I must say that I am very happy with the results...

Watch at YouTube

I will work on the navigation lights, exterior accessories, i.e FLIR, antennas, custom scale landing gear. Also will work on the interior

Links to the 700-class tail boom, which is made of carbon fiber, plus one to the corresponding long tail drive belt for Panteras. The 700-head for the stretch conversion isn't ready yet but since you're running a multi-rotor head this info will be helpful anyway.
