I know some people run them at 6s but I would think the current draw would be way too high. I have a 12S machine and wouldn't consider anything less than 10S.

Disc loading with a Logo 600 is significantly better than with a Trex 600. So the Logo will outperform the comperably equiped Trex by a good margin. However, you will not get the flight time or punch on 6s that you would get on 10 or 12s. On the upside, with a 6s setup you will get a lighter flying heli and lower operating cost. I would definately not consider 695+mm blades on 6s. More than 600mm would put too much strain on the lipos - in my opinion.

I would like to try a 6s L500SE with 600mm blades. I think it would be a very fun bird.

yup, me likey 12S. If you were running 6S 5000 on your align, maybe just run two in parallel for a sorta heavy (for a logo) but long flight time, or just stretch to 700 and then it would be perfect!

No problem. I fly my SE with Edge 603 blades on 6S 5000. At a HS of 1800 to 1900 I get over 6 minutes of sports flying. Very economical setup but no good for 3D, if that is your cup of tea.

Yup, 550mm blades and 6s is the way to go.
600mm blades with 6s, you lose performance and flight time.

For 600mm blades, you can do a hobbycity 12s 30c 3600mah setup for $120 per pack.

I am flying the 500SE on 6S 5000mAh with an take off weight <3kg on 603 Maniacs!
Flight time with aerobatic sport flying is >7 minutes at ~1950 headspeed!

I don't know how it performs on hard 3D but I can't bog down the motor even when banging the sticks, amp. peaks always < 90A!

I like that setup very much!!

This is the setup I fly and you can do anything in the book with it. Extreme 3D for 5 mins with plenty mah to spare.

Longer boom. Ability to spin 600mm blades. Slightly heavier. I think that's really about it.
