Just fried my Scorpion Commander 60A ESC
I was using a Scorpion HK3026-1400 motor. Was on 3rd flight with a Gaui 425 and heard the sound of gears stripping, and then the motor stopped. Was able to auto the heli down and discovered that the motor shaft had pulled out causing the pinion to slide down stripping the gears and locking up. The ESC is now fried by what I can tell. Tried connecting another motor to it and nothing. Will a locked up brushless motor fry the ESC?
Is there any way to test a brushless motor without having to buy another ESC? I don't want to buy an ESC just to test the motor.
Hopefully, Scorpion will work with me on this since the motor came apart in flight.
