For all you that think the QWW Bat want fly well your wrong. I went to Shuttlepilots house today and i saw him with my own two eyes fly all over the place and it ran and flew smooth as silt. He also flew another guys Bat and it flew awesome smooth as silt i id not have mine ready or we would have tried it out. I did get my Trex 700 and it took me a total of about 2mins to crash it so i was grounded. So i guess the Trex will have to go on the shelf because i don't have the money for a new set of blades. If any of you have a set and could let me get them at a deal please let me know. I hope to have my bat flying by the weekend.

Thanks
Ivan

I lucked out i forgot i had a brand new set of of 690 MAH blades in my hobbie room so i guess i need about $20 worth of parts or so to get the Trex flying again. But i'm not even going to mess with it i'm going to work on my bat.

Thanks Phil for a good show

Well Rajs54321 i did not know if you wanted me to call you by your name so thats why i said another guy. I have pics of SP hovering his i will load them on the computor and put them on RR. I just wanted to say to all of you that told me EI on a 26 would not work was dead azz wrong and cost me a lot of money. I set right there and watched SP hover his and Rajs helis with the EI on it and those helis ran smother than mine with the hanson mod. I should have listen to Irwin and ran the motor he sent me because they will run dead nuts smooth with the EI. I had a ton of people telling me the EI would not work then the Radikal comes out and people thinks thats the best thing since sliced bread. I learned one damn thing by going to shuttlepilots, don't believe most of what you read on RR because a lot of them are full of crap. The Octane Bat does fly and fly damn good, if i could keep my azz of rr i could have mine flying. Let me give a tip buy what you WANT not what people tell you to buy. Thanks Irwin you were right i was wrong and thank shuttlepilot you guy know what you have.

Thanks for a almost good day(my bad)
Ivan

I've had a set back or too but i'm getting there. When i get the motor broke in and all the fine kicks worked out i'm going to get a friend of mine to film me a Phil and try to figure out how to get it on youtube. I know some of you say the bat want fly but i have watched Phil fly his many times and Jimboflys which is Raj4321 fly and fly good. But me i would step in cow she i t in the middle of the desert.(bare footed) I will get it going and i really like the bat a very well made machine it just needs a few more twicks that so other. I like the challenge it gives me something to do at night when my wife is bitching at me just for being me.

Thanks
Ivan

The bat will fly and fly every Sunday. I bought a Spectra thinking i would have a trouble free heli but i found out very soon thats not true. I can say gassers are a SOB to get flying and any one that say there not is full of crap.
Hmmm...a bit of a generalization there IMHO.

After your experience with two of the many gassers out there you are putting them all into the same catagory??

I will admit that gassers are not generally for the less experienced, as they are generally more complex then an electric or a plastic 30 or 50 nitro. But they are not much more difficult to build then most high end 90's.

But from my experience (I have built and flown many different ones), there are some that are much more user friendly then others.

Do a search here for a poll thread from a few years ago asking who had what gasser. There you will find that more the 60% had one in particular and the other 40% was made up of all the others. Yet that model seemed to have far less build and set-up issues then any of the others. So what should that indicate??

Now look at what is reported with another new release - seems it was as easy to build as some 50 nitros.

I trust you were not meaning to say they all are very difficult.

And of course once you get any of them all sorted out, they usually prove to be well worth the effort.

Phil

Well your right old dude i have not had every gasser out there i just refering to the two i have. Some people have a nack for gasser a lot don't i have built 20 helis nitros and electrics and i can get the flying great in one week but for me the gasser has kicked my butt. I have had gas planes and i thought there would be no diference in a gas heli but boy was i wrong. Some got it some don't best of luck to all you gasser guys out there. Sorry if i mis stated my answer.

Thanks for all the help you guys have giving me.
