Did anyone go to Toledo this year and notice how much more Heli stuff was there? I just couldn't help but realize the last 3 to 4 years around my area Helis have become a lot more popular. Just this year alone I bet we have 3 more just heli only events that will be happening. Just curious if this is a growing trend in other areas.

Toledo
I went Fri. and there are, more Heli related items. Now to
add them to the Swap Shop. Did see a few fantastic Helis
in compitition display. Some manufacturers were absent this year.
All together a good show. Show specials aren't they used to be.
Symposium is useful if your a beginner, or an old duffer,
set in his ways, like me. I want to use my 72 mhz Kraft KP5C.

I thought the swap shop was really really down and sucked. I was dissapointed that Thunder Tiger wasn't even there.

I think more heli manufacturers are using IRCHA as the primary "trade show" of choice.

WAY more heli specific enthusiasts @ IRCHA. If you're going to spend as much as tens of thousands of dollars (yes, that's right, for the larger companies by the time you pay booth fees, travel expenses, lodging, food, and incidentals) to attend a show, you might as well maximize ROI with optimum exposure.

I was thinking the same thing. I was there on Saturday. I havent been to IRCHA yet...and I figured it would be a stronger showing of heli specific vendors. The swap shop at toledo, IMHO, left something to be desired. Majority of that stuff is literally JUNK.
