Just converted my protos. Love how much cleaner it is. I started out with using an AR6100 with the mini Vbar. (I have been running the 6100 on this size of helis for a few years and have never had a glitch so please do not flame me for this.) I recently changed out the receiver and have installed two JR remote receivers. Got everything talking and have flown the bird a few times. I have noticed that the vbar take a minimum of 1 minute to initialize and sometimes longer. This is a pain. I like how the vbar flies but not at the cost of waiting forever for a heli to boot up. I have reprogramed the vbar and re bound the receivers, but nothing seems to make any difference. This is my first time using a vbar so I am sure there is something that I am doing. Any help would be appreciated.

The heli must remain absolutely still while initilizing. Mine usually takes about 5 seconds.

I installed the 6100 back on and now it takes 15-20 seconds to boot up. Better than over a minute. Still seems a bit long. I do wait for the heli to let the swash plate move to let me know the vbar is ready to go.

What ESC? The beeps from the ESC will prevent initializing.

I had a FBL T-500 with stock esc and it would take about a minute to initialize. Funny thing is, if I left the throttle high during initial arming the steady beep, beep, beep, beep actually let it arm faster in like 15 seconds.

Hope that makes sense.

The miniv takes a long time to boot if the bec voltage is not steady. Align esc tend to have becs which have fluctiations so the vbar takes forever to boot. For the short time I used fbl/miniv mine did this to as I was using the align 60 amp esc/bec.

That was it. it was the ESC. I went to boot up again and put the throttle at about 1/4 and now it takes about 6 seconds to boot up. Soon to come will be an ICE controller. Thank you all for your help.
