Hi guys,

I've been searching around and only found a few people who use the new brushless JR MP80G tail servo (Scott Gray and Daniel Jetschin).

I'm thinking about the JR MP80S brushless servo for my upcoming FBL 90 project. Is anybody using them? I'm looking for some feedback.

Any help/info would be much appreciated.

Regards,
G

I'd like to use some brushless JR servos as well on a FBL 90. They seem like they are pretty hard to find.

I called Horizon Hobbies today, and they said they are not going to offer any product support for the brushless JR servos.

Looks like JR of North America is behind the times.

I have fitted an MP80G tonight in place of a DS8900G in my T Rex700N.

Not really impressed and that's only with the heli sat on the bench.

What I'm getting is vibration on the tail when ever any force what so ever is put on the servo.Leaving the servo horn off and all is OK.
The tail pushrod is silky smooth.

This 'Tremble' of the servo horn ends up shaking the whole of the tail assembly.

I`m using a Mikado V bar and I have left all settings on this the same as for the other servo.

The only thing that quietens it down is by fitting an Align in line 5.1v step down regulator between the V bar unit and the servo.

This means that the servo is then running on 4.36V.A Reactor X 5.2v output was used for starters.

Doing this has made things much better but I can't see why.

How critical is the supply voltage on these new servos I wonder?
