Most all will plug right in but you'll have to take the battery out every once in a while to charge. Dont use your regular transmitter nicad charger. As far as brands are concerned, I doubt it really makes any difference.

You want a lipo that will fit, not all will fit. If it is marketed as a Tx lipo it should fit. Most Tx lipos have a very low C rating like 5C and are inexpesive. I recommend adding two diodes in series.

Lipo for RDS8000
little,
Yep..... Check out [url=http://commonsenserc].
They make lipos for transmitters and one that will fit and work in the RDS8000. I've used them for many years now with great success.
And yes the RDS8000 will work great with this 11 volt battery. As stated you will have to remove the battery for charging with a lipo charger. The battery will charge up to 12.6 volts. If I recall you will have to swap the pins on the "plug" to put the red (+) wire on the outside edge and the black (-) in the middle. You will not need to add diodes. I use this battery in ALL my "Airtronics-Sanwa" radios.
FM and 2.4.
I hope this is of some small help.
Regards
