As you can tell from these 2 posts, I'm setting up my new CC ESC.

To do so, I have to enter one parameter specifically called "Magnetic Poles in Motor".

Well the motor manufacturer has this info:

12 Stator Poles

10 Magnets.

So is the value for "Magnetic Poles in Motor" 10 or 12 in this case?

Sorry, I'm a stupid mechanical engr. I hate electronics...

.......and computers!

Saturday morning I flew my helicopter in my pajamas
How it got in my pajamas I'll never know

I just finished setting mine up on my Logo 400. The Scorpion motors are 10 pole. There are some other things that need adjusting. I had to make 2 calls to customer service to get mine right (EDIT: specifically for using the CC ESC and a scorpion motor). The first was understanding the set RPM mode and the second was because I was losing headspeed halfway through the flight. We adjusted a few parameters in the CC software out of the "default" settings and now she runs like a champ. If you need the specifics, let me know and I can PM you.
